Qualification: The applicant shall be a distinguished academic with first-class degree in both Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree level and with Ph.D. or equivalent from a reputed institute. The candidate shall have at least 15 (fifteen) years of teaching or research experience and shall have worked as a full Professor at a reputed institution for at least 7 (seven) years; or shall have industry experience at a higher level for at least 15 (fifteen) years. The candidate shall be an Indian Citizen or an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI). The appointment tenure and performance review will be guided by the IIM Act 2017 & IIM (Amendment) Act, 2023 and IIM Rules 2018, IIM (Amendment) Rules, 2022 & IIM (Amendment) Rules, 2023 and IIMC Regulations as applicable. The candidate appointed as Director shall hold office for the tenure of appointment on a contract basis for a period of 5 (five) years or till he or she completes the age of 70 (seventy) years, whichever is earlier.
