Qualification: 

• Assistant Professor (Grade I & II)
  • Ph.D. with First Class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch/specialization with excellent academic record throughout. The candidates should have a strong academic background and understanding of current developments in their field of expertise. Selected candidates are expected to teach across various programmes and publish high-quality research papers in leading academic journals. In addition, they are expected to contribute to academic administration from time to time as per the norms set by the Institute, engage in institution development, conduct training programmes and engage in consultancy work.
• Professor of Practice/Associate Professor of Practice
  • The Professor of Practice/Associate Professor of Practice, the individual must have substantial relevant experience (minimum 15 years for Professor of Practice with at least 5 years at a senior level position, and minimum 10 years for Associate Professor of Practice) in industry or government with demonstrated understanding of and impact on practice and has the interest and potential to teach Long Duration Programme (such as MBA) courses and MDP/UBP as a full-time activity

Pay Scale:

• Assistant Professor (Grade-I) Level 12: ₹ 1,01,500 – ₹1,67,400 with Entry Pay of ₹ 1,01,500
• Assistant Professor (Grade-II) Level 10: ₹ 57,700 – ₹ 98,200 with Entry Pay of ₹ 84,700
• The overall compensation of “Professor of Practice” or “Associate Professor of Practice” will be equivalent to that of regular Associate Professor or Full Professor. Selected candidates will get Consolidated Compensation, Accommodation, Medical Allowance, Reimbursement of Telephone Bills, Faculty Development Fund for attending National Conferences, Membership of Professional Bodies etc. as per IIM Mumbai norms. Faculty members are permitted to pursue MDPs and Management Consulting after meeting the minimum teaching requirements as per IIM Mumbai Norms.
