Research Position: Junior Research Fellow
Title of the project: “DrCMDs Predictor: A novel system for Disease prediction, Mutated patterns discovery, and Drug Candidates generation to combat viral diseases in Indian population
Sponsoring/Funding Agency: Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) under the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India.
Academic Qualifications:
B.Tech./ B.E. in CSE/ IT/ AIML/ Data Science/ ECE/ Other Branches with 60% (or 6.5/10 CGPA) and above. With 5% relaxation for SC/ST/PwD applicants. GATE qualification is mandatory in relevant branch.
OR
M.Tech./M.E/MSc. Computers/Master of Computer Applications/ Specializations of CSE/IT/Equivalent/with 60% (or 6.5/10 CGPA) and above. With 5% relaxation for SC/ST/PwD applicants. GATE/NET qualification is mandatory in relevant branch.
OR
M.E/M.Tech in Computer Science/IT/ Bioinformatics/Related
Branches admitted through national level exams conducted by IISc, IITs, NITs, CFTIs, DRDO, CSIR, IISER, MHRD, DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, ICAR, etc.
Skills Required (Essential): Knowledge in Deep Learning/ Machine Learning/Bioinformatics.
Skills Required (Desirable):
(i) Very good hands-on in Web application development
(ii) Knowledge in Python programming
Project Duration: Around 24 Months
Fellowship: As per the funding agency norm (i.e., for JRF Rs. 37000 + 8% HRA). No other allowances admissible.
