Essential Qualifications: For Lecturer in Psychiatry, candidates need a recognised medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule, or Part II of the Third Schedule, of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, along with a postgraduate degree or equivalent qualification in Psychiatry from a National Medical Commission recognised medical college or institution, and knowledge of Konkani. For Lecturer in Physics, candidates need a Master’s Degree in the appropriate branch of Humanities and Sciences, such as Physics, with a minimum of First Class, along with knowledge of Konkani.
