Qualification: First Class B Pharm with Master’s degree in Pharmacy (M.Pharm) in appropriate branch of specialization in Pharmacy or Pharm.D (Qualifications must be PCI recognized). With Ph.D. degree in any of Pharmacy subjects (Ph.D. Qualifications must be PCI recognized).
Job Description:
- General Administration of the School of Pharmacy.
- General administration and overall supervision of teaching programs.
- Supervision of student’s welfare, health and security services.
- Supervision and guidance of teaching staff including organization of in-service education of staff.
- Responsibility for organizing the workload of staff including teaching assignments.’
- Guidance and counseling of students.
- Administrative arrangements for students’ clinical experience and teaching in the hospital and public health field.
- Recruitment of staff and admission of students.
- Responsibility for the conduct of examinations.
- Supervision of living conditions of students in hostels.
- Maintenance of permanent records of students.
- Preparation of reports.
- Review and revision of policies, rules, regulations & philosophy of the department.
- Performing public relations duties for the department.
- Procurement of Department related equipment, supplies, and stationery.
- Preparation of budgetary proposals.
- Supervision of hostel and office staff.
- Participation in the Pharmacy Department’s committee work.
- Participation in teaching programs.
- Supervision of library services.
- Planning for the development of the pharmacy department.
Experience:
- 15 years of Experience in teaching or research out of which 5 years must be as a Professor/HOD in a PCI approved/ recognized Pharmacy College.
