Sri Vidya College of Engineering and Technology is run by Sri Vidya Educational and Charitable Trust, founded by Er. R.Thiruvengada Ramanuja Doss a retired Chief Engineer from Tamilnadu Electricity Board (TNEB). This trust also runs the following sister institutions: College of Education, Teacher Training Institute, Public School(CBSE), Matric Hr. Sec. School and College of Arts and Science. The Group of institutions is having more than 3000 + students, about 200 + teaching staff and other supporting staff. The Engineering college offers seven UG programmes and four PG programmes, including MBA.
