Essential Qualifications: DGS recognized MEO Class I Certificate of Competency or Master (FG) Certificate of Competency; sailing experience of a minimum of three years on merchant ships with at least one year at Management Level in the rank of Chief Officer or 2nd Engineer; sailing experience of a minimum of three months on Gas Tankers at Management Level as per STCW Convention; and a Certificate of completion of Advanced Training Program in Gas Tanker Cargo Operation from a DGS-approved institute

Desirable: Certificate of completion of Assessment, Examination and Certification of Seafarers (AECS) Course, IMO Model Course 3.12, from a DGS-approved institute

Age Limit: Maximum 60 years

Salary Details: Consolidated remuneration of Rs. 70,000 to Rs. 1,20,000 per month, commensurate with qualification and experience as decided by the Selection Committee
