Job Title: Junior Research Fellow
Project Title: “Investigating the molecular mechanisms of polyphosphate storage in microalgae; an approach towards production of sustainable phosphate biofertilizers”
Essential Qualification: : M.Sc./ M.Tech. /Integrated M.Sc. / BS-MS in Biological Sciences/Life Sciences/Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Molecular Biology/ Botany or equivalent with 60% marks for General/OBC, 55% for SC/ST/PH and must have qualified CSIR/UGC- NET/GATE or any other equivalent national level exam (DBT/ICMR).
Desirable: Candidate with experience on algal/plant biology, metabolite analysis, tissue
culture and molecular biology.
Tenure of Position: The position is purely temporary. Initial appointment will be for 1 year, and it can be extended up to 2 additional years based on performance.
Monthly Fellowship: Rs. 37000/-pm + HRA (as per norms)
