Job Title: Research Associate- We are seeking Research Associate to work on our research projects focusing on exploring how Urban transformation has affected common pool resource management in North-East Region of India
Employment Type: Temporary
Requirements:
- Qualification and Experience: A degree in Environmental/Ecology/Sustainability/Social Sciences or related disciplines from a recognized university. One year field and research experience desired.Requirements:
- Experience in undertaking field work including working with local communities
- Prior experience with data collection, collation, and basic analysis
- Proficiency in English and Nagamese. Knowledge of other local languages of Nagaland would be beneficial
- Knowledge of local culture and traditions desirable
Duration: The duration of the project is for one year. The location is in the districts of Dimapur and Kohima in Nagaland.
- As a researcher you will be responsible for,
- Comprehensive review of the project-related literature
- Interact with local communities regarding the topic and undertake field work including interviews, focus group discussions
- Data compilation and transcription
- Preparation of manuscripts and drafting articles based on the findings of the research
