College Profile: Started in the year 2001 by the Karpaga Vinayaga Educational Trust. The institution is approved by the AICTE New Delhi, affiliated to Anna University, Chennai and accredited by the NAAC. The institution is approved by the UGC under 2(f) and 12(B) category. 

Salient features of KVCET: 

The institution offer B.E. courses in Automobile, Biomedical, Civil, Computer Science, EEE, ECE, Mechanical, Robotics and Automation and B.Tech courses in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science and Biotechnology. Mechanical and Biotechnology programmes are accredited by NBA. We also offer 7 PG courses, in the Biometrics and Cyber Security, Big data Analytics, Computer Science and Engineering (with specialization in Network), Manufacturing, Biotechnology, Master of computer Application (MCA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA). 

Every year, around 600 students enroll and study in KVCET. Till date, more than 10,000 Engineers have graduated from KVCET. The institution has state–of–the–art infrastructure facilities, qualified teachers and students placement record is around 90% every year.
