Akshaya College of Engineering and Technology (ACET) was established by Akshaya Charitable Trust in the year 2009. It is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and Affiliated to Anna University Chennai. Akshaya College of Engineering and Technology is accredited by the NAAC, in 2022. Qualification: 

For Engineering Faculty Positions: 

• For the post of Assistant Professor, candidates with a First class in Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in the relevant discipline will be preferred. 
• For the post of Professor and Associate Professor, candidates with a Ph.D. and a strong record of publications in reputed journals will be preferred. 

For Science & Humanities (S&H) Faculty Positions:

• Candidates with a Ph.D. or who have qualified NET/SLET/SET in the relevant discipline will be preferred for the post of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor.

For the post of Librarian: 

Candidates with a Ph.D. in Library Science or who have qualified NET/SLET/SET in the relevant discipline will be preferred. (UG and PG in regular mode is mandatory). 

For the post of Physical Director (women): 

Candidates with a Master’s Degree in Physical Education (M.P.Ed.) or Master of Physical Education and Sports (M.P.E.S.) or an equivalent degree from a recognized university (or equivalent grade) or Ph.D. in Physical Education or equivalent qualification.
