Organization Profile: This polytechnic was established due to the initiative of Thiru. A.D.Jawaharpandian in memory of his beloved better-half, the late Mrs.Dharmambal in the year 1979. It was functioning at Valivalam Desikar Polytechnic upto 1986 as a women’s wing. Due to the efforts of Thiru A.D.Jayaveera pandian, the polytechnic moved into the existing campus during the year 1986-87. Now it is named as A.D.J.Dharmambal Polytechnic College a Co-Educational Institution. A.D.J Dharmambal polytechnic is a Government aided Institution which was started under the auspices of the A.D.J. Dharmambal Educational Trust and is running efficiently under the continuous guidance, encouragement and support from the management. Our founder president the late Thiru. A.D.Jeyaveera Pandian was a great philanthropist, Industrialist and a pioneer in the Import and Export business. He showed great interest in the growth and development of the polytechnic.

Qualification:
- Master’s degree in Physical Education or Master’s degree in Physical Education Science or an Equivalent Degree with at least First Class or equivalent and have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET
- Master’s degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation Science or an Equivalent Professional Degree with at least First Class or equivalent and a consistently good academic record with knowledge of computerization of library and have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET

- The candidate should have excellent communication
- Candidates should be passionate towards teaching and guiding students
