Required Educational Qualifications for Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor and Senior Resident: Candidates should have
- Qualifications as per the latest guidelines and minimum standard requirements of the National Medical Commission (NMC/MCI), as given in Gazette Notification No. CG-DL-E-05072025-264399 dated 30.06.2025
- MBBS and MD/MS/DNB or other post-graduate qualification, as required for the post and department
- Updated Medical Registration (NMC/State Medical Council) for all post-MBBS/MD/MS qualifications
- A copy of the “Applied for” document, if the updated registration is not yet available, to be shown at the time of interview
Age Limit: The age limit is counted as on 31 October 2026
- Faculty posts: not exceeding 67 years
- Senior Resident (Clinical): not exceeding 45 years
- Senior Resident (Non-Clinical and Para-Clinical): not exceeding 50 years
- Age relaxation is as per the prevailing norms of the Government of India
- The maximum tenure for teaching faculty is up to 70 years of age, and retired or working Professors may also apply for the eligible posts
