Required Educational Qualifications for Guest Teacher (Agricultural Statistics): Candidates should have
- Master’s degree in the relevant subject of Agriculture with 55% marks (or equivalent grade 6.50 on a 10.0 scale) and a good academic record
- NET (National Eligibility Test) along with one publication in a NAAS related refereed journal, for candidates having a Master’s degree
- For PhD holders, NET can be waived if the PhD was done with course work as per UGC Regulations 2009 and the candidate has at least two full length publications with a NAAS rating of not less than 4 on the last date of submission of application
- PhD without course work does not qualify for NET exemption
- If eligible candidates are not available, PG candidates may be considered as part time teachers on a period basis for one semester only, with approval of the competent authority
Age Limit: Maximum 40 years, with 5 years relaxation for SC, ST, OBC and women candidates as per Chhattisgarh Government rules.
