Required Educational Qualifications for Guest Faculty: Candidates should have
- Master’s degree in the relevant subject of Agriculture/Veterinary faculty with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade 6.50 on a 10 point scale) and a good academic record
- NET (National Eligibility Test) along with one publication in a NAAS rated referred journal, for candidates having a Master’s degree, in disciplines where NET is conducted
- For PhD holders, NET can be waived if the PhD was done with course work as per UGC Regulations 2009 and the candidate has at least two full length publications with a NAAS rating of not less than 4 on the last date of application
- PhD without course work does not qualify for NET exemption
- If eligible candidates are not available, candidates with a PG degree in the relevant subject may be considered on a per day basis for one academic session only, with approval of the competent authority
Age Limit: Maximum 40 years, with 5 years relaxation for SC, ST, OBC and women candidates as per Chhattisgarh Government rules.
