Organization Profile: The Radhakrishnan University Education Commission of 1949 emphasised the need for establishing Agricultural Universities in India., Subsequently, the indo-American team consistitued under the Chairmanship of Dr. K.R. Damle (1955), the then Vice-president of Indian Council of Agricultural Research, suggested a system of education for Indian as followed in the Land Grant Colleges of USA. The Planning Commission Committee felt the inadequacy of trained personnel for substantial output in agricultural operations with the then set up of research, education and extension in Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and allied fields. In course of time, these recommendations led to the creation of the agricultural universities to accomplish the integration of teaching, research and extension.

Qualification:
- Master Degree in Relevant Field with atleast 55% marks/ equivalent OGPА from a recognized University.

- Research publication in peer reviewed journals will be given due weightage.

How to Apply:
- Guest Faculties will be engaged in different subjects in the College of Fisheries (OUAT), Rangailunda, Berhampur-7 through Walk-in Interview to be conducted in the Office of the undersigned on 3rd October, 2026 at 10.00 AM.
- The candidate must bring all the documents in original (Certificates, mark sheets from HSCE onwards, experience certificate etc.). Two sets of self-attested photocopy of each document and two recent passport size photograph along with updated Bio-data to be produced at the time of interview.
- No objection certificate from the present employer, if any, is to be produced at the time of interview.
- The empanelment will remain valid for one year. The undersigned reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of positions on basis of need and approval of the competent authority or to cancel the interview process without assigning any reason.
- Interested candidate will have to appear for a walk in interview on 3rd October, 2026 at 10.00 AM for the respective subjects as mentioned in the advertisement in the website of OUAT, Bhubaneswar (ouat.ac.in).
- No TA/ DA will be paid to the candidate for appearing the interview. The candidates desirous of attending the walk in interview must report at the venue latest by 10.30 AM on the date of interview.
