Experience: For Assistant Professor Grade-II (Contract), candidates with less than three years of post-Ph.D industrial, research or teaching experience may be considered. For Assistant Professor Grade-I (Regular), candidates with at least three years of post-Ph.D industrial, research or teaching experience may be considered.

Age Limit: The age limit for a UR category candidate applying for the Assistant Professor position is preferably below 35 years. Age relaxation is applicable for OBC, SC/ST and PwD candidates as per government norms.

Salary Details: Assistant Professor Grade-II carries a 7th CPC Pay Level 10 with a minimum basic pay of ₹70,900/-, and total approximate emoluments of ₹1,49,262/- including HRA. Assistant Professor Grade-I carries a 7th CPC Pay Level 12 with a minimum basic pay of ₹1,01,500/-, and total approximate emoluments of ₹2,11,196/- including HRA. Apart from basic pay, candidates will also receive D.A., H.R.A, Transport Allowance and other applicable allowances as per Institute rules.
