Essential Qualifications: A Master’s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned, relevant, or allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. Along with this, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET, or must hold a Ph.D. degree awarded in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016. Candidates who registered for their Ph.D. programme before 11th July 2009 shall be governed by the then-existing Ordinances, Bye-laws, or Regulations of the institution, subject to fulfilment of specific conditions related to regular mode of award, thesis evaluation by external examiners, open viva voce, and publication of research papers. Alternatively, candidates holding a Ph.D. degree from a foreign university or institution ranked among the top 500 in the World University Ranking (QS, THE, or ARWU) at any time are also eligible.
Desirable: Candidates with a Ph.D. in the relevant field or subject shall be preferred.
Salary Details: Selected candidates will be paid a fixed emolument of Rs. 80,000/- (Eighty Thousand) per month. No other allowances will be admissible.
