Essential Qualifications: For the CRPG post, candidates need a Master’s degree with 55% marks in Economics and related disciplines from a recognised university. For the CCSS post, candidates need a Master’s degree with 55% marks in Environment, Climate, and Sustainability Studies and related disciplines. Both posts additionally require a cleared NET/SLET/SET conducted by the UGC or CSIR, or a PhD awarded as per UGC regulations. Alternatively, candidates with a PhD from a foreign university ranked among the top 500 in QS, THE, or ARWU rankings are also eligible for both posts.

Desirable: For the CRPG post, a PhD in economics with a focus on financial economics, public policy or governance is preferred, along with a strong research and teaching record in quantitative methods, macro-micro economics, regulatory economics, urban economics, and financial analysis. For the CCSS post, a PhD in interdisciplinary subjects such as Climate studies, Policy studies, Environmental studies, Energy studies or Development studies is preferred, along with an excellent academic and publication record and the ability to teach climate science, climate modelling, vulnerability assessment and climate policy courses.

Salary Details: Selected candidates will get an entry pay of Rs. 57,700/- in Academic Pay Level 10 as per the 7th CPC.
