Essential Qualifications: For the CRPG post, candidates need a Master’s degree with 55% marks in Economics and related disciplines from a recognised university. For the CCSS post, candidates need a Master’s degree with 55% marks in Environment, Climate, and Sustainability Studies and related disciplines. Both posts additionally require a cleared NET/SLET/SET conducted by the UGC or CSIR, or a PhD awarded as per UGC regulations. Alternatively, candidates with a PhD from a foreign university ranked among the top 500 in QS, THE, or ARWU rankings are also eligible for both posts.

Desirable: For the CRPG post, a PhD in economics with a focus on financial economics, public policy or governance is preferred, along with a strong research and teaching record in quantitative methods, macro-micro economics, regulatory economics, urban economics, and financial analysis.
