Essential Qualification: Candidates must meet one of the following criteria: M.E./M.Tech in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Electronics, or Instrumentation with a minimum of 55% marks (preference given to M.E./M.Tech candidates); OR M.Sc in Physics, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Marine Science with a minimum of 55% marks, provided the candidate has demonstrated aptitude for hardware and mechanical systems
Desirable: Valid GATE qualification will be given strong preference. Prior experience in precision mechanical design, automation, or embedded systems is preferred. Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD is desirable. Knowledge of microcontrollers like Arduino and Raspberry Pi and sensors is an added advantage. Experience with 3D printing or prototyping and willingness to conduct field trials in coastal or marine environments are also desirable.
Emoluments per month: Rs. 25,000/- per month plus HRA (if applicable), for candidates with a Master’s degree in Engineering or Science
