Qualifications: 

(1) The appointment will be made strictly in accordance with the provisions of The Gujarat Public Universities Act-2023, Gujarat Public Universities Uniform Statutes, 2024 as well as the relevant prevailing norms of UGC, AICTE, NCTE, Statute No. 131 of Gujarat Public Universities Uniform Statutes, 2024 and any other applicable regulatory bodies.
(2) In case no suitable candidate is found for a particular specialization of concerned subject, candidates from allied or relevant specializations may be considered, subject to due verification and scrutiny by the university.
(3) The university reserves the right to modify the specialization and category in the event of suitable candidates are unavailable. Therefore, seat reservation categories and specializations may be adjusted accordingly.
(4) The number of seats may vary based on the university’s requirements.
(5) The contract period will be 11 months or until the joining of a regular candidate, whichever is earlier.
(6) Candidates with a proven track record in research, as per the prevailing regulatory authority’s guidelines, may be given priority.
