Job Title: Curriculum Development (Full-time/Part-time)

Job Summary

The Curriculum Development Manager will be responsible for designing, developing, and refining curriculum content for diploma and undergraduate programs in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Robotics/Electrical domains. The role involves creating industry-aligned instructional materials, ensuring high-quality delivery, and incorporating modern pedagogical approaches such as project-based learning, self-directed learning (SDL), and collaborative methodologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both academia and industry, with expertise in curriculum design and teacher training.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Curriculum Design & Development:
  • Develop and update curriculum based on current technological trends, industrial best practices, and global standards (India/Singapore/Germany/Austria).
  • Integrate critical inquiry, problem-solving, and hands-on project-based learning into course structures.
  • Create lesson plans, worksheets, task sheets, assessments, assignments, projects, and lab exercises to enhance student engagement.
  1. Industry & Academic Alignment:
  • Ensure curriculum relevance by linking theoretical concepts with real-time industrial applications.
  • Gather feedback from industry experts and modify curriculum to meet evolving workforce demands.
  1. Instructional Material Development:
  • Design verbal and visual teaching aids, including digital and interactive learning resources.
  • Develop materials that promote self-directed learning (SDL) and student autonomy.
  1. Team Coordination & Quality Assurance:
  • Lead a team of content developers across different technical domains.
  • Monitor classroom delivery quality and provide feedback for improvement.
  1. Teacher Training & Support:
  • Assess faculty needs and conduct training sessions to enhance their content delivery and technical knowledge.
  • Ensure faculty are updated on latest industry practices and teaching methodologies.

Qualifications & Experience:

Educational Background:

  • BE/ME/PhD in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Robotics/Electrical Engineering/Electronics Engineering /Instrumentation Engineering (PhD preferred).

Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of teaching experience at diploma/undergraduate level.
  • At least 2 years of industrial experience in a relevant field.
  • Prior experience in curriculum development for polytechnics/engineering colleges/industrial training centers.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong communication and instructional design skills.
  • Familiarity with global curriculum standards (Singapore/Germany/Austria).
  • Ability to create student-centric, activity-based learning materials.
  • Knowledge of emerging trends in engineering education and industry practices.

Preferred Candidates

  • Retired professors/faculty from engineering/polytechnic colleges.
  • Professionals with prior experience in TVS Group or similar industry-aligned training programs.
