  1. Job Description for Soft Skills Trainer position

Develop need-based training content and deliver outcome based training programmes on the following:

  • Communication Skills (Basic, Intermediate & Advanced levels)
  • Interview Skills (GD, HR, Group & Technical interviews)
  • Verbal Skills (Company Specific Assessment)
  • Interprsonal Skills

   Job role includes:

  •  Identifying Training Needs:

Assessing training needs, creating engaging content, and facilitating interactive sessions, ultimately helping students improve their employability skills.

Identifying areas where students require soft skills development, such as communication, teamwork, leadership, problem-solving, or time management.

  •  Curriculum Development:

Creating customized training curriculum and activities to achieve specific learning objectives.

  • Training Delivery:

Facilitating engaging and interactive training sessions using various methodologies, including workshops, role-playing, and group activities.

  • Assessment and Evaluation:

Evaluating students’ progress through assessments, feedback and performance monitoring.

  • Coaching and Mentoring:

Providing   individual coaching and feedback to students to reinforce learning and support skill development.

  • Continuous Improvement:

Staying up dated on best practices in soft skills training based on industry needs and incorporating feedback to enhance future training sessions.

2. Job Title: Aptitude Trainer

Job Summary:

The Aptitude Trainer will be responsible for training students in quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning and verbal ability to help them prepare for campus placements, competitive exams, and aptitude tests conducted by various companies. The trainer should be capable of designing engaging lesson plans, conducting practice sessions and evaluating student’s progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct training sessions on Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning and Verbal Ability.
  • Prepare and deliver interactive lectures, mock tests and practice sessions.
  • Develop customized training materials, question banks and worksheets.
  • Assess student’s performance through periodic tests and provide constructive feedback.
  • Guide students in solving previous year placement papers and aptitude test patterns of various companies.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and changes in aptitude test patterns.
  • Collaborate with placement and academic departments to align training programs with campus recruitment needs.
  • Motivate and mentor students to improve their problem-solving speed and accuracy.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Technical Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge and a passion for teaching, able to deliver complex information in a clear and engaging manner. As a Technical Trainer, you will be responsible for designing and delivering training programs to students, ensuring they acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct training sessions on Java, SQL, C, C++ and other tech skills that you are good at.
  • Create engaging and easy-to-understand training materials for students. This includes lecture notes, coding exercises, assignments, and quizzes focused on Java, DBMS, and Operating Systems.
  • Course Delivery:
  • Conduct instructor-led training sessions (ILT) and webinars for students, focusing on core subjects such as Java programming, C programming, C++ Programming, SQL queries, database design, and OS fundamentals like process management, memory handling, and file systems.
  • Hands-on Exercises:
  • Design and guide students through practical coding labs, SQL challenges, and OS exercises to build real-world problem-solving skills. Encourage students to work on projects to reinforce learning.
  • Interactive Learning:
  • Promote interactive learning by conducting group activities, discussions, and Q&A sessions. Assist students in understanding key concepts through problem-solving and real-time coding.
  • Assessments and Feedback:
  • Create and grade coding assignments, quizzes, and exams to assess student understanding. Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their knowledge and skills.
  • Keep up with the latest advancements in Java, DBMS technologies, and operating system concepts. Integrate new industry trends and tools into your teaching materials.
  • Offer one-on-one support to students during office hours or via online platforms. Help students troubleshoot coding problems, SQL queries, and OS-related issues, ensuring they feel confident and capable.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Technical Knowledge:
  • In-depth understanding of Java, object-oriented programming, Java libraries, and frameworks (Spring, Hibernate), C, Cpp.
  • DBMS: Strong grasp of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle), SQL syntax, database design, and optimization techniques.
  • Operating Systems: Knowledge of core OS concepts, including memory management, process scheduling, file systems, system calls, and multithreading. Hands-on experience with both Linux and Windows OS environments.
  • Communication Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a clear and approachable teaching style.
  • Problem Solving:
  • Ability to help students troubleshoot coding issues, database errors, and OS challenges. Provide clear, step-by-step explanations of solutions.
  • Certifications (OPTIONAL):
  • Java certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Java Programmer), or other relevant certifications in DBMS or are a plus.
