Extending beyond the Earth’s surface, IIG’s research also probes the complex interactions of particles, fields, and currents in near-Earth space, with a special focus on space weather and its influence on our technological environment.

Eligibility:

i) A First Class Master’s degree in Physics, Geophysics, Mathematics (Applied Mathematics), Geology, Electronics or Computer Science, Atmospheric Science, Statistics, Space Physics and related applied subjects.
ii) A PhD. degree in an appropriate and relevant discipline as above.
iii) A minimum of 10 years of research experience in relevant field, post completion of Master degree

Pay Scale: As per 7th CPC
