Job Title/Designation: Physical Education Trainer

Eligibility:

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) or equivalent from a recognized university; a Master’s degree (M.P.Ed.) is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of fitness training, sports rules, event organization, and safety practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills, with a passion for student development through sports and physical wellness.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in sports training, coaching, or physical education instruction.
• Experience in managing gym facilities, conducting sports events, and training university or school-level teams is desirable.
• Preference will be given to candidates with recognized coaching certifications or participation at inter-university, state, or national levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized training and mentoring to student athletes and sports teams.
• Prepare teams for competitions, ensuring fitness, discipline, and safety during training sessions.
• Oversee fitness center operations, maintain gym equipment, and conduct regular training programs for students and staff.
• Assist in the maintenance of playfields, courts, and sports equipment, ensuring readiness for daily use and events.
• Coordinate logistics for sports meets, tournaments, and university-level events.

• Ensure proper ground upkeep, field marking, and overall cleanliness of sports facilities.
• Promote student engagement, well-being, and safety under the guidance of the Resident Manager.
• Coordinate with administrative and maintenance teams for smooth functioning of hostel facilities.

Preference:

• Candidates with certifications from recognized sports bodies (e.g., NIS, SAI, or equivalent).
• Individuals with demonstrated achievements as players or coaches at inter-university, state, or national levels.
• Experience in organizing sports fests, intramural competitions, or fitness programs in higher education institutions.
• Candidates with multi-sport coaching ability and commitment to promoting health, discipline, and teamwork among students will be highly preferred.
