Organization Profile: Biju Patnaik Institute of Information Technology and Management Studies (BIITM) was incorporated in 1999 (approved by AICTE & affiliated to BPUT, a state university, ISO 9001:2015 Certified and NAAC Accredited) with the objective of imparting Management Education which focuses on developing leadership competencies and managerial skills enabling the students to tackle complex managerial situations and assume leadership role. Hence, BIITM commitment is to transform the students into thoughtful leaders.
The knowledge and ever-progressive faculty members follow an innovative pedagogy which combines conceptual clarity, case studies, field work and regular feedbacks. To enhance the intellectual capital further, the Institute encourages the faculty members to publish research articles and attend seminars, conferences sponsored by IITs, IIMs and AICTE.
Four students of BIITM have been awarded University Gold Medal in MBA for the yr- 2016, yr-2019, yr-2020, yr-2021 and yr-2022. Over the years the intake capacity of BIITM has been 300 students per year with the approval of AICTE.

Qualification:
- Associate Professor Candidates should be MBA/ MCA/ MTech (CSE) / MCom in relevant disciplines with First Class career and Ph.D. with minimum 8 years’ experience in teaching and at least 5 publications in Indexed or Peer-reviewed Journals. Preference will be given for experience in Teaching at Management Institutes and/or in Corporate sector.
- Assistant Professor Candidates should be an MBA/ MCA/ MTech. (CSE) /MCom. / MA (Communicative English) in relevant disciplines with First Class career with minimum 3 years’ experience in teaching. Preference will be given to Teaching in Management Institute / UGC-NET / Publication in Indexed or Peer-reviewed Journals / Ph.D. / Corporate experience.
- Manager (Training & Placement) Candidates should have a Post Graduate degree preferably MBA with minimum 8 years’ experience in Industry liaison, corporate engagement and Student placement. ‘,Offered salary is best in the Industry.
- IT Professional (Hardware) IT professionals with 8 years experience in managing hardware infrastructure, networking, and system support. Preference will be given to experience in academic institutions
