Organization Profile: After independence, development of the rural sector was considered the primary concern of the Government of India. In 1949, with the appointment of the Radhakrishnan University Education Commission, imparting of agricultural education through the setting up of rural universities became the focal point. Later, in 1954 an Indo-American team led by Dr. K.R. Damle, the Vice-President of ICAR, was constituted that arrived at the idea of establishing a Rural University on the land-grant pattern of USA.

Remuneration: Remuneration will be paid at the rate of Rs. 550/- per hour with a maximum of Rs. 25,000/- per month for candidates fulfilling the eligibility of Assistant Professor in the discipline

Qualification:

Master Degree in Yoga with 55% marks or its equivalent

Candidate Profile:

• The candidate should be completed a PG/Ph.D in the relevant discipline with good academic records.
• The candidate should have excellent communication
• Candidates should be passionate towards teaching and guiding students
• The candidate should have good research record
