Position:  Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/Project Associate I/ Project Associate II

Number of posts: 01

Title of the project:  Predictive Coding for the Identification of Ratio Decidendi in Indian
Judicial Decisions

Funding agency for the project specimen: Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB)

Essential Qualification:

JRF: M.E/M.Tech or M.E/M.Tech with First class in Computer Science & Engineering / Information Technology / Equivalent with minimum 60% or 6.5 CGPA from a recognized university / institute with valid GATE score

(or)

Project Associate – II: B.E/B.Tech or M.E./ M.Tech. with First class in Computer Science & Engineering / Information Technology / Equivalent with minimum 60% or 6.5 CGPA from a recognized university / institute and 2 years experience in Research and Development in industrial or academic institutions.

(or)

Project Associate – I: B.E/B.Tech or M.E./ M.Tech. with First class in Computer Science & Engineering / Information Technology / Equivalent with minimum 60% or 6.5 CGPA from a recognized university / institute

Emoluments:

For GATE qualified Candidates:
1. Junior Research Fellow – Rs. 31,000/- + 16% HRA
For Non-GATE Qualified Candidates:
2. Project Associate II – Rs.28,000/- + 16% HRA
3. Project Associate I – Rs.25,000/- + 16% HRA

Duration: 36 months(maximum), [This temporary position is initially for 12 months and is extendable only for the duration of the project subject to satisfactory performance.]

Job Description:

• To execute the research work detailed in the entitled project
• Compilation of the results
• Report preparation and presentation
• The selected candidates will be permitted to register for the Ph.D. program as per NITT rules and regulations
