SPECIALIZATIONS FOR FACULTY RECRUITMENT: Refer Advertisement
Essential Qualification: The Essential Minimum Academic Qualifications for Teaching Posts advertised and shall have First Class (at least 6.5 CGPA on a scale of 10 or equivalent or 60% aggregate) in the preceding Degrees. Candidates having PhD degree directly after B. Tech are also eligible and they should have obtained First Class at Bachelor’s level.
Essential Requirements:
- Assistant Professor – Grade II (On Contract): Nil
- Associate Professor: Six years after Ph.D. of which at least 03 years at the level of Assistant Professor with AGP Rs.8000/- Or Nine years total working experience, of which 03 years should be after Ph.D., with at least 03 years at the level of Assistant Professor with AGP Rs.8000/-.
- Professor: 10 years after Ph.D. or 13 years total working experience, out of which 07 years should be after Ph.D. At least 03 years at the level of Associate professor with AGP of Rs.9500/- or 04 years at the level of Associate Professor with AGP of Rs.9000/- or combination of Rs.9000/- and Rs.9500/-, or equivalent in an Institution of repute or Research & Development lab or relevant industry
Candidate Profile:
- Candidates should complete their Ph. D in relevant specialization with First class.
- Preference will be given for the candidates those who have completed their UG/PG/Ph.D.
in IIT/NIT/IIIT/CFIs. - Post-Doctoral experience in CFIs / Institutes of repute in abroad with QS rankings upto 500 will be considered for the purpose of experience.
Selection Process: Selection will be done in two phases. In the first phase the shortlisted candidates are required to appear for technical seminar in the area of their specialization in the respective department. The second phase involves interview by the duly constituted Selection Board.
