Qualifications:
Assistant Professor:
- Ph.D. or Fellow from reputed Indian and Foreign universities/institutions
- First-class or equivalent (in grade or points) in the Master’s degree with an excellent academic record
- A post-PhD experience in teaching/research will be preferred
- Must have demonstrated research capabilities in publications in reputed journals. In the absence of publication in reputed journals, authored books (not edited) with a reputed publisher can be considered.
Associate Professor:
- Ph.D. or Fellow from reputed Indian and Foreign universities/institutions
- First-class or equivalent (in grade or points) in the Master’s degree with an excellent academic record
- Must have demonstrated adequate independent research experience in publications in reputed journals.
- A post-PhD Experience of six years, of which at least three years should be at the level of Assistant Professor level (Pay Matrix 12A or above)
Professor:
- Ph.D. or Fellow from reputed Indian and Foreign universities/institutions
- First-class or equivalent (in grade or points) in the Master’s degree with an outstanding academic record
- Must have demonstrated leadership in research in a specific area of specialization with a strong record of publications in reputed journals.
- A minimum of ten years of post – Ph.D. teaching/research/professional experience, of which at least four years should be at the level of Associate Professor (Pay Matrix 13C or above)
RBI Chair Professor:
- Ph. D. or equivalent at the preceding degree with first class, an outstanding academic record, and ten years of post-Ph.D. experience in teaching/research, five years should be as an Associate Professor or equivalent.
- Candidates should have exhibited leadership in research or consultancy projects of substantial size and scope in the last five years. Candidates should have a proven record of outstanding publications in top journals and have the ability to guide large projects.
