Project Title: Understanding the molecular basis of selective transport of silicon and arsenic by modulating Nodulin 26-like Intrinsic protein 2-1 (NIP2-1) in rice (Oryza sativa)
Essential Qualifications: Post Graduate Degree in any discipline of Life Sciences/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ other relevant subjects and at least 2 years of post-Masters’ degree research/ teaching experience.
Desirable Qualifications: Relevant Research experience in plant molecular biology, plant transformation, plant genome editing or computational biology.
Emoluments: Rs. 35,000/- + 9% HRA according to terms and conditions as per the DST-SERB, Govt. of India.
