Position Overview:
The Director will provide strategic leadership, administrative oversight, and academic direction to ensure the highest standards of education, research, and institutional development. The ideal candidate should have at least 20 years of progressive experience in academia, administration, or institutional leadership, with a strong record of achievements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement long-term institutional strategies aligned with the vision and mission of VISAT Group of Institute.
- Oversee academic planning, program development, and quality enhancement initiatives.
- Promote a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and academic excellence.
- Academic & Administrative Oversight
- Ensure effective administration of academic departments, faculty development, and student services.
- Lead the accreditation, compliance, and quality assurance processes as per regulatory standards.
- Monitor academic performance, research activities, and institutional outcomes.
- Faculty & Staff Management
- Recruit, mentor, and retain highly qualified faculty and administrative staff.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and performance-driven work environment.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and professional development programs.
- Student Engagement & Welfare
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive student environment.
- Ensure effective delivery of student services, including counselling, training, and placement support.
- Encourage extracurricular, co-curricular, and community-focused initiatives.
- Industry & Community Relations
- Strengthen partnerships with industry, academia, government bodies, and community organizations.
- Represent the institute in conferences, academic forums, and public engagements.
- Facilitate collaborations, internships, and placement opportunities for students.
- Financial & Operational Management
- Oversee budgeting, resource planning, and fiscal discipline across the institution.
- Ensure optimal utilization of infrastructure and resources.
- Implement policies, systems, and processes to improve institutional efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience
Master’s degree or PhD in a relevant field (PhD preferred).

- Minimum 20 years of experience in academic leadership, administration, or higher education management.
- Demonstrated achievement in strategic planning, faculty development, and institutional growth.
- Strong understanding of accreditation processes, regulatory frameworks, and academic standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and people-management skills.
- Proven ability to lead teams and foster a culture of excellence and discipline and continuous improvement.
- Experience in handling AICTE / University related processes and administrative coordination
- Visionary mindset with commitment to academic excellence and students development
