A walk-in interview for the position of Project Associate- I (One Post) under the Self-Financing Scheme on “Feed and Fodder Technology” is scheduled to be held on 17.03.2026 (Tuesday) at 9.30 A.M. in the Department of Animal Nutrition, Veterinary College and Research Institute, Mohanur Road, Namakkal – 637 002. The post is purely temporary and engagement is initially for three years period which can be extended depending on the candidate’s performance and requirement in the project. Departments having vacancies:

• Department of Animal Nutrition

Qualification : Master’s degree in Veterinary / Animal Science / Fisheries in any subject or Master’s Degree in Agricultural Sciences with PG Diploma in Feed Manufacturing Technology or Bachelor’s Degree in Technology (B.Tech.) in Poultry Production Technology / Food Processing / Agricultural Engineering / Fisheries Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent with a minimum of 55% marks.

Duration of the post: Initially for three years. Further continuance will be based on performance assessment and functional needs of the project.

Emoluments:

• Rs. 31,000/ + HRA per month to scholars who passed (a) National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET or GATE or AICTE / ICAR NET / Any other National / State level tests approved at the time of joining. However, revised wages of Rs.31,000/- will be paid from the date of qualification after joining the post. OR
• Rs 25,000/-+HRA for others who are do not fall under (i) above.
