Research Position: Junior Research Fellow
Title of the project: “A Novel and Cost-effective Biogas Purification Technology using Polyacrylamide Gel to Power Bio-methane in Automobiles”.
Sponsoring/Funding Agency: SERB, DST Government of India.
Essential Qualifications: M.E./ M.Tech/ MS or equivalent degree in Chemical Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering with minimum of 1st class or equivalent CGPA and GATE qualified in Chemical Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering.
Desirable Qualifications: Candidates having knowledge in polymer synthesis and characterization, separation technology, component design, mathematical modelling and experience in technical writing will be preferred.
Project Duration: 36 months
Stipend: Rs. 31,000/- per month + HRA (for first two years) & Rs. 35,000/- per month + HRA (for the third year) – GATE Qualified
Non-GATE qualified students fellowship can be 90% of GATE stipend or as per the Institute rules at the time of appointment.
