Job Title/Designation: MBA Director
About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Director to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a
- Provides academic and administrative leadership to the MBA institution.
- Develops and implements strategic plans for institutional growth and excellence.
- Ensures compliance with AICTE, Anna University, and other regulatory bodies.
- Oversees faculty recruitment, mentoring, and performance appraisal.
- Promotes quality teaching, research, innovation, and industry relevance.
- Builds strong industry partnerships for internships, placements, and collaborations.
- Encourages entrepreneurship, leadership development, and global exposure for students.
- Manages budget planning, resource allocation, and institutional operations.
- Drives continuous improvement through accreditations, audits, and feedback mechanisms.
- Acts as a key liaison between management, faculty, students, and external stakeholders.
Qualification and Experience (As per AICTE & Anna University Norms):
- Ph.D. in Management is mandatory (regular).
- Should have minimum 15 years of Teaching/Research/Industry experience, including at least 10 years as Professor/HOD/Director in an MBA Institution.
- Proven administrative capabilities and leadership in academic planning and execution.
- Should have a strong publication record in Scopus / referred publications and proven record of mentoring faculty and students.
- Publications – Minimum of 8 publications in reputed – Peer-reviewed and indexed journals.
- Guided 2 PhD scholars or at least guiding PhD candidates is must.
- Age should be below 55 years.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership for academic excellence and institutional growth.
- Supervise all operations of the MBA program, including curriculum development, quality assurance, and faculty performance.
- Liaise with Anna University and AICTE for compliance, reporting, and audit activities.
- Lead the promotion of research, industry-institute collaboration, and student success initiatives.
