Qualification: Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s Degree level in concerned/ allied / relevant subjectSoil Science and Agricultural

Chemistry – Essential Qualification: Masters’ degree (M.Sc.(Ag.) / M.Sc. / M.Tech./ M.E.) in Nanotechnology/ Material Science/ Environmental Science/ Geoinformatics/ Remote sensing/ Geography.
Desirable Qualification: Expertise in Nanotechnology Applications, Proficiency in GIS and RS tools, Hands on experience in Laboratory technique.

Engineering Chemistry- M. Sc. in Chemistry] along with relaxations ons applicable to specified categories, as explained in the Note 1.
The candidate preferably has cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC (CSIR) or similar test accredited by the UGC like NET/SLET/SET.

Job Location: Cooch Behar, West Bengal

Remuneration: The remuneration shall be fixed considering sixteen effective weeks of instruction in one semester. Depending on credit-hour of the course, the fixed remuneration shall be calculated. Remunerations for conducting theory (one hour) and practical (two hours) classes will be admissible at the rate of Rs. 800/- and Rs. 1200/-, respectively. In addition to this Rs. 1000/- will be paid for setting question paper and evaluating midterm answer scripts, Rs. 2000/- will be paid for end-term question paper moderation and evaluating answer scripts, and Rs. 1000/- will be paid for conducting and evaluating for practical examination. No additional payment will be made .for conducting and evaluating back examinations (if any) for the concerned course. The total fixed remuneration for a particular course will be rounded off to the next Rs. 500/-.
