Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Placement Officer to join our growing Career Services team. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective placement strategies for Arts & Science students, fostering strong relationships with employers, and facilitating successful career outcomes for our graduates.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential employers in various industries relevant to Arts & Science programs.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive outreach strategy to connect with potential employers across diverse industries relevant to Arts & Science programs.
- Organize and conduct campus tours, company presentations, and industry–specific workshops for students, fostering meaningful connections between employers and potential employees.
- Represent the college at career fairs and industry events, promoting our programs and the value proposition of our graduates.
- Collaborate with faculty and academic advisors to identify student career goals and connect them with appropriate internship and job opportunities.
- Stay updated on current industry trends and job market demands for Arts & Science graduates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in placement or career services, preferably within the education sector.
- Strong understanding of the Indian job market, for Arts & Science graduates.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship–building skills.
- Proven ability to organize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and career services software (e.g., college career management systems) a plus.
- Ability to travel within and outside the region for employer meetings and career fairs (if applicable).
Job Location: Salary is not constraint for eligible candidates.
