Organization Profile: Thavathiru Santhalinga Adigalar Arts Science Tamil College, Perur, Cbe-10. : In 1952 an agency in the name and style of Thavathiru Santhalinga Adigalar Kalloori Kalagam was started with an objective of establishing a college in the name of ThavathiruSanthalinga Adigalar Tamil Kalloori to offer vidhvan course (Tamil Pandit course) at that time. The college was registered and approved by Madras University on 4th June 1953.
Many courses like Commerce, Computer Science and Corporate Secretaryship were later introduced. In 1980, a 3 year Tamil under graduate course B.Lit was introduced and in 1981 M.A Tamil was started. In course of time full time M.Phil and Ph.D programs were started. In 1989 B.Com (English Medium) was started and in the next year B.Com Tamil medium was introduced under self financed program.
