NET or SLET is essential in disciplines where it is conducted by ICAR, UGC, CSIR, or any other Central or State Government agency. Where a candidate with a Ph.D or NET/SLET is not available, a first-class M.Sc degree in the related discipline shall be the essential qualification.
Salary Details: Candidates fulfilling the eligibility of Assistant Professor in the discipline will be paid Rs. 650/- per hour, with a maximum of Rs. 30,000/- per month. Candidates possessing only a Master’s degree in the concerned discipline will be paid Rs. 550/- per hour, with a maximum of Rs. 25,000/- per month.
