Job Title:CONTROLLER OF EXAMINATIONS
Essential Qualification:
i. (a) Good academic record with at least 55% of marks, or its equivalent grade of ‘B’in the
UGC 7-point scale, where grading system is practiced, at the Masters Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a Foreign University. A relaxation of 5% will be provided from 55% to 50% of the marks at the Master’s level for the SC/ST Category.
(b) At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor in the Academic Level 11 and above or with 8 years of service in the Academic Level 12 and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration.
(c) Comparable experience in research establishment and / or other institutions of Higher
Education
(d) 15 years of administrative experience of which 8 years as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.
ii. Ph.D. Degree in any discipline obtained from a recognized University is desirable, and
iii. Knowledge of Tamil to the extent of carrying out official correspondences and drafting
reports is essential.
Job Location: Chennai
Age: The applicant for the post should not be below 45 years of age and should not have
completed 55 years of age in the case of a non-academician and 57 years of age in the case of an academician, on the date of notification inviting application for the post of Controller of Examinations
Scale of Pay: As per UGC Norms 7 th Pay Matrix Level (14, 1) Rs.1,44,200/-.
