College profile: Tamilnadu College of Engineering was sponsored by Tamilnadu Technical Education Foundation (Regd.) established in the year 1984.The Institution was founded by eminent philanthropists Lion T.N. Palanisame B.A., MJF (Late) and Dr.P.V.Ravi Ph.D., who are pioneering educators having unmatched rich experience in the field of education with belief that the continuous perusal of knowledge is the sole path to success. The College is recognized by the Government of Tamilnadu, approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and affiliated to Anna University. The college offers graduation studies in 12 disciplines and 3 post graduation studies. 9 under graduation studies got permanent affiliation from Anna University. The National Board of Accreditation (NBA), AICTE, New Delhi accredited the courses B.E.(Computer Science Engineering), B.E. (Mechanical Engineering), B.E (Civil Engineering),B.E (Electronics and Communication Engineering) and B.Tech (Artificial Intelligence and Data Science) for 3 years. The college also has effective functioning of clubs such as IO Tech club, (Hands to others) H2O Club, Rotary Club, Tamil Mandram, Red Ribbon, NSS etc., to develop student’s intellectual skills and social responsibility.
