Job Title: Librarian

Key Responsibilities
- Library Management:
- Oversee daily operations of the library, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and maintenance of resources (books, journals, e-resources, etc.)
- Develop and update library inventory, including cataloging, classification, and digital archiving
- User Support:
- Assist students, faculty, and staff in locating and accessing resources (physical/digital).
- Provide guidance on research methodologies and reference management tools.
- Digital Initiatives:
- Manage library software (e.g., KOHA, LIBSYS) and maintain the institution’s digital repository
- Update the college website with library-related content (e.g., new arrivals, book reviews)
- Acquisition & Procurement:
- Select and procure books, journals, and e-resources aligned with the curriculum (Diploma programs in Engineering/Technology).
- Administrative Duties:
- Conduct periodic audits and generate usage reports.
- Supervise library staff and student assistants
Qualifications & Experience
- Essential:
- Master’s degree in Library Science (MLIS)with First Class from a recognized university.
- Proficiency in library automation software (AutoLib Software Systems) and computer application
- Experience of Conducting NDLI (National Digital Library of India) Programme.
- Preferred:
- 1–5 years of experience in academic libraries.
Salary & Benefits

- Librarian: ~₹25,000–₹30,000/month
