Organization Profile: Swami Vivekanand National Institute of Rehabilitation Training and Research (SVNIRTAR) is an Autonomous body under Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DIVYANGJAN), Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India. It provides total medical rehabilitation for the Persons with Locomotor Disabilities. It also conducts four Bachelor Degree courses in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Prosthetics and Orthotics & Audiology and Speech Language Pathology three Postgraduate courses of Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Prosthetics and Orthotics affiliated to Utkal University, & Odisha University of Health Sciences (From 2023) Bhubaneswar.

Qualification: 

  • Lecturer
    • Essential Qualification: Post Graduate in Prosthetics & Orthotics from a recognized University/ Institute
    • Experience: 10 Years of teaching experience in relevant field from a recognized Institute / Rehabilitation Organization / College/ University.
    • Desirable qualification: Publications of books or in index journals.
  • Clinical Psychologist As Well As Junior Lecturer
    • Essential:
      (i) M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology (2 years course)
      (ii) Two years’ experience as Clinical Psychologist in a recognized Disability Institute / Organization.
      (iii) Registration with RCI is mandatory.
    • Desirable: Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from a recognized University or Institute
  • Demonstrator in Physiotherapy
    • Essential Educational Qualification & Experience :-
      1. Degree/Diploma in Physiotherapy.
      2. Three years teaching experience.
  • Cashier
    • Graduate in Commerce. Minimum 5 years experience in Accounts of Government Department or Public Sector Undertaking out of which at least 2 years should be in handling cash transaction.

Pay Scale:

  • Lecturer – Pay Matrix Level-10 (Rs. 56,100/- to 1,77,500/-)
  • Clinical Psychologist As Well As Junior Lecturer- Pay Matrix Level-7 (Rs.44,900/- to 1,42,400/-)
  • Demonstrator in Physiotherapy- Pay Matrix Level-6 (Rs.35,400 – 1,12,400/-)
  • Cashier- Pay Matrix Level-6 (Rs. 35400 to 1,12,400/-)
