Job Title/Designation: Assistant Professor, Culinary/Food and Beverage Service/ Accommodation Operations
Job Profile
- Deliver lectures, conduct practical training sessions, and supervise student projects and internship
- Develop and deliver engaging and relevant courses in hospitality management, covering areas like hotel operations, customer service, food and beverage management, event management, and other relevant topic
- Evaluate student performance through exams, assignments, and other assessments
- Contribute to the development and revision of the curriculum, ensuring it aligns with industry standards and student needs
- Mentor and advise students on academic and career goals, providing guidance and support
Qualification: A Master’s degree in either Hospitality Management / Hotel Administration / Tourism Management with at least 55% marks And Bachelor Degree in either Hospitality Management / Hotel Administration / Tourism Management with at least 55% marks AND must have cleared the NET or SET or SLET or equivalent, unless they have a Ph.D AND mandatory 2 years work experience in a 4 STAR HOTEL
A PhD degree in the relevant or allied discipline is highly desirable and can exempt you from the requirement of NET/SLET/SET
Skills Required: Teaching abilities, subject matter expertise, research and interpersonal skills, including communication, leadership and problem solving.
