| Job Description: | The JRF will work on the metallization of Carbon Fiber-Reinforced Plastic (CFRP) space hardware components, such as RF antennas. Responsibilities include developing electroplating, micro-machining, and electropolishing setups, performing finite element analysis, conducting experiments, and carrying out various characterization techniques. The candidate will be involved in preparing manuscripts for high quality journals, conferences and Patents. |
| Qualification: | Candidates with a first-class master’s degree or Final year (M.E./M.Tech./M.S.) in Mechanical//Manufacturing/Production/Metallurgy and Materials/Design Engineering, or any other relevant specialization are eligible. Required skills: Fundamental knowledge of manufacturing processes, micro-machining, electro-less and electro-plating, RF testing, surface characterization, design for manufacturing, and finite element analysis. |
| Upper Age Limit: | Age not exceeding 32 years as of the date of the interview. Age relaxation is allowed up to 5 years for SC/ST/PH/OBC/WOMEN candidates. |
| Fellowship: | (₹37,000/ + 16 % HRA = ₹42,920/month) (initially first two years) and thereafter (₹42,000/ + 16 % HRA = ₹48,720/month) till the end of the project. |
| Registration for PhD.: | Selected candidates may be allowed to enroll in the PhD program at SRM University AP, provided they meet the eligibility criteria for the PhD qualification process as per institute regulations. |
