Job Title: Placement Coordinator

Qualification & Experience: Candidates with PG degree & 5+ years experience in the same field

Key Responsibilities: 

Industry Engagement: 

• Establish and maintain relationships with companies for campus recruitment and internships.
• Identify new placement opportunities and expand the employer network.
• Coordinate with recruiters for scheduling campus drives, interviews, and pre-placement talks. Student Preparation:
• Organize training programs for aptitude, soft skills, group discussions, and interview techniques.
• Guide and mentor students on resume building, career planning, and job search strategies.
• Maintain a database of student profiles and ensure up-to-date records for placements.

Placement Activities: 

• Plan and execute placement drives, job fairs, and internship programs.
• Coordinate logistics and hospitality for visiting recruiters.
• Track placement statistics and prepare regular reports for management.

Collaboration & Communication: 

• Serve as the liaison between students, faculty, employers and Career Development Centre, Kattankulathur.
• Work closely with academic departments to align student skills with industry requirements.
• Communicate placement schedules and updates through internal platforms and notices.
