Sri Vignesh College of Engineering and Technology has evolved from Sri Vignesh Polytechnic College in the year 2025 with the approval of AICTE, New Delhi, Affiliated to Anna University and started with five Branches, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering which comes under Sri Vignesh Educational Trust established in the year of 1982.
Sri Vignesh Group of institutions also comprises with other institutions such as Sri Vignesh Vidyalaya Senior Secondary School, Sri Vignesh. Public School (CBSE) and Sri Vignesh Renga Matriculation School. The campus is situated in proximity of Trichy city on Trichy — Chennai Highway as green sprawling campus.
