Organization Profile: Vikas Educational Society was established in the year 1997 involving eminent scholars with a aim of promoting technical/ professional education in this industrially backward area of Andhra Pradesh, besides other service oriented activities taken up by the society since inception. The society started with a recognized junior college in the 1997, functioning effectively with good results and setting records. As there is no professional Pharmacy course in this district, the society started Sri Venkateswara College of Pharmacy with Degree course in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from the year 2004 .
The institution has started the P.G Programmes in Pharmacy i.e. M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical Technology specialization with an intake of 10 students from the academic year 2008-09 and in the present intake is 15. M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical Analysis specialization was started with an intake of 10 students from the academic year 2009-10 and at present the intake is 15. M.Pharm in Pharmacology specialization was started with intake of 15 from the academic year 2012-13. The Institution has started the Pharm.D course with an intake of 30 from the academic year 2014-15 with the aim to cater the needs of prospective students to prosecute their studies in pharmacy. The office bearers of the society consists of President, Secretary and Treasurer.

Qualification: Ph.D., Master’s Degree, Pharm.D (Doctor of Pharmacy) Degree with First class in all the preceding degrees in the appropriate branch of Pharmaceutical Sciences, with an exemplary academic record throughout.
Experience:
- Assistant Professor – Minimum Experience
- Associate Professor – Minimum 5 Years of Experience of which 2 years post Ph.D. experience.
- Professor – Minimum 10 Years of Experience of which at least 5 years at the level of Associate Professor.
Specialization Required:
- M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical Analysis / Chemistry
- M.Pharm in Pharmacology
- M.Pharm in Pharmacognosy
- M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology
- Pharm.D (Doctor of Pharmacy)
Candidate Profile:
- GPAT Qualified candidates are preferred.
- Experienced candidates are preferred.
