Employment Type: Full Time

The Hostel Warden (Boys) is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, discipline, welfare, and safety of male students residing in the college hostel. This role requires a proactive individual with strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills to create a conducive living environment that supports academic and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Student Welfare & Discipline
  • Ensure the safety, well-being, and discipline of all hostel residents.
  • Enforce hostel rules and regulations, addressing any violations promptly.
  • Counsel students on personal, academic, and social matters, coordinating with the college counseling team when necessary.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for students’ grievances and concerns.
2. Administrative & Operational Duties
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, medical details, and emergency contacts.
  • Oversee room allotment and manage check-in/check-out processes.
  • Coordinate with hostel staff to ensure cleanliness and maintenance of facilities.
  • Monitor and manage hostel budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources.
3. Safety & Security Management
  • Implement and monitor security protocols to ensure a safe environment.
  • Conduct regular inspections of hostel premises, including common areas and rooms.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies, coordinating with security and medical personnel as needed.
4. Health & Hygiene Oversight
  • Ensure adherence to hygiene standards in hostel facilities.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for regular cleaning and upkeep.
  • Facilitate medical assistance and first aid when required, and coordinate with local medical facilities for emergencies.
5. Student Engagement & Activities
  • Organize recreational, cultural, and educational activities to promote holistic development.
  • Encourage student participation in hostel committees and leadership roles.

6. Communication & Reporting
  • Maintain open communication with parents regarding students’ welfare and behavior.
  • Submit regular reports on hostel activities, incidents, and student feedback to the college administration.
  • Liaise with college departments for coordination and support.
