Experience:
- Sr Counsellor: 3 to 4 years
Key Responsibilities:
- Individual Counseling: Conducting one-on-one sessions to address a wide range of issues, including academic, career, and personal challenges.
- Needs Assessment: Evaluating client situations, identifying problems, and developing tailored plans for support.
- Guidance and Support: Providing ongoing support, advice, and encouragement to help clients achieve their goals and improve their well-being.
- Educational Guidance: Assisting students in selecting appropriate courses, navigating the college and university admission process, and identifying suitable career paths.
- Workshop/Seminar Facilitation: Organizing and leading educational workshops and seminars on relevant topics.
- Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of client interactions, progress, and interventions.
- Collaboration: Working with educational institutions, other professionals, and external agencies to provide comprehensive support.
- Staying Informed: Keeping up-to-date with educational trends, policies, and best practices in counseling.
- Strategic Planning: In some senior roles, contributing to strategic planning, decision-making, and team leadership.
- Mentoring: Providing guidance and support to junior counselors.
